Abstract
At Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies (RIMS), 98 percent of graduate school students cited employability as the primary factor for selecting a school. Unfortunately, data showed that only 25 percent of students graduating with an MBA in India were employable. In response, a cross-functional team used quality tools to improve placement numbers as well as attract recruiters, enhance salaries, and earn revenue. This project was entered in the 2012 International Team Excellence Award competition and earned finalist honors.
