Abstract

The transition from working for an organization to owning a restaurant was unexpected. Still, I found myself applying some basic quality principles, such as continuous improvement, customer focus and process approach. No matter what profession you are in, quality principles always can be applied. I didn’t foresee using quality principles in the restaurant business, but we used them to exceed customer expectations and build process efficiencies.
