Abstract

Every organization is subject to change. Workforce development helps organizations adapt to personnel changes, including staff recruiting, orientation, training, continuing education, retention and promotion. This article considers the quality professional’s role in these aspects of workforce development. Workforce development is fundamental to successful quality management. While organizations may have different approaches to meeting their workforce development needs, quality professionals must ensure high standards and oversight in this area.
