Abstract
The four stages of team development include forming, storming, norming and performing. Leaders can complement these stages by incorporating Leading EDGE (explaining, demonstrating, guiding and enabling) principles—at each stage. This combination provides a powerful framework for building high-performing teams, which in turn fosters a culture of collaboration, drives the team toward its goals and helps any team achieve exceptional results.
