Abstract

Findings from this year's ASQ Salary Survey shows that the quality professionals' median salary has taken its first decline in a decade. This year’s drop also is the largest in absolute and percentage terms. The median stands at $115,000 for 2024, representing a decrease of $3,000, or 2.5% compared to 2023. It’s likely that many factors contributed to this result, and teasing them out would be a challenge. One thing jumps out, however: There has been a demographic shift in our respondent base.
