H. Fred Walker, CMQ/OE, CQE, CRE, CSQE, CQA, CSSBB, CSSGB, CQT, CCT, CQI, CMDA, CFSQA, and CQPA, is a Principal Quality Engineer at the United States Naval Nuclear Laboratory. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Education and Technology and is a Senior Member of ASQ.

Dr. Ahmad K. Elshennawy, CLSSMBB, CQE, CRE, is Professor and Associate Chair of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems at the University of Central Florida. His areas of specialty include quality management, manufacturing systems, precision metrology, and process improvement. He is an ASQ Fellow.

Dr. Mary McShane-Vaughn, CRE, CQE, CSSBB, is principal at University Training Partners, a company that designs and delivers Six Sigma training. McShane-Vaughn has published numerous Quality Press titles, is Editor of Lean and Six Sigma Review, is a senior member of ASQ, and is a member of the Institute of Industrial and System Engineers and the American Statistical Association.
